Orangery buildings

Orangery is the only Moscow greenhouse cluster with a 250-year history. The first greenhouses were built here in the early 1740s. Over time, Tsaritsyno became known for its exotic fruits and plants. In 2007-2008, greenhouse buildings were restored according to the old drawings. Today museum staff members once again grow exotic plants, just like 250 years ago.

There are educational environmental workshops and tours both for children and adults at the Orangery.
