Oct. 21, 2020
Tsaritsyno Museum was shortlisted for the Heritage in Motion competition. This is the most important annual competition for multimedia projects dedicated to the cultural, natural, tangible and intangible heritage of Europe. The competition was organized on the initiative of the Europa Nostra Federation of NGOs in the field of culture and the European Museum Academy. The results will be announced at the end of November.
The diorama “Tsaritsyno Through the Ages” is familiar to everyone who has visited the permanent exhibition “Tsaritsyno of Catherine II“. On it, in a few minutes, you can see the two-hundred-year history of the Tsaritsyn palace ensemble – from Bazhenov’s project to restoration at the end of the 20th century.
We thank and congratulate Next.space for invaluable help in creating the project, chief developer Alexander Lavrov, as well as the entire team of Tsaritsyno and Next.space: Alexei Lizunov, Pavel Ermolov, Elena Ofitserova, Alexandra Stepina, Yuri Shcherbakov, Svetlana Kalinina , Valentin Pankratov, Tatiana Smirnova.
Watch the video (in Russian) about how Tsaritsyno Through the Ages was created, and you can always see the diorama itself at the Tsaritsyno Catherine II exhibition on the first floor of the Grand Palace.
