Tsaritsyno exhibitions in the parallel program of the Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art

Nov. 1, 2019

On October 31, the 8th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art opened, in a parallel program of which there are three exhibition projects of the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve – The Snow Policy by Sergey Katran, The Yellow Sound by Mikhail Pogarsky and Vasily Vlasov and The Throne of Humanism by Daria Surovtseva .

We thank the expert jury that selected our exhibitions, and congratulate the artists and curators of The Snow Policy, who worked at the Opera House. Guests of the Museum-Reserve can still see the exhibition “The Yellow Sound”, named after the stage composition by Vasily Kandinsky, to which Alfred Schnittke wrote music in 1984. The exhibition runs until November 17 at the Bread House.

As for the installation “The Throne of Humanism”, it can be seen in the Tavrichesky Hall on the second floor of the Grand Palace until the end of winter. In the spring, the throne will be transferred to the park, and everyone, sitting on it, will be able to reflect on their mission and their role in history.
